Top Gun Day in Nevada

WHEREAS, the freedoms we enjoy as Americans have been secured and protected for 250 years through the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces; and

WHEREAS, countless service members have given their lives in defense of our nation, leaving behind families whose lives are forever changed by their sacrifice; and

WHEREAS, it is our collective responsibility to ensure that the legacy of these heroes lives on through meaningful support for their spouses and children; and

WHEREAS, Folds of Honor Nevada is dedicated to providing educational scholarships and support to the families of fallen and disabled service members, helping to create opportunity, stability, and a path forward; and

WHEREAS, the Top Gun Club represents a community of individuals committed to honoring service not only in remembrance, but through action, ensuring that the sacrifice of our nation’s heroes continues to impact future generations; and

WHEREAS, recognizing “Folds of Honor - Nevada Top Gun Day” provides an opportunity for citizens, businesses, and community leaders to come together in support of military families and to reaffirm our commitment to those who have given everything for our country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim July 4, 2026, as
