The Evel Knievel Experience Day In Nevada

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada recognizes the importance of cultural and entertainment destinations that preserve history, inspire innovation and contribute to the state's dynamic tourism economy; and

WHEREAS, The Evel Knievel Experience: An Interactive Museum of America's Original Daredevil now open in Las Vegas' Arts District introduces a significant new attraction dedicated to the life, legacy and cultural impact of Evel Knievel; and

WHEREAS, originally launched as the Evel Knievel Museum in Topeka, Kansas, the new experience expands upon the award-winning, internationally recognized collection, now permanently located in Nevada and reimagined for a global audience; and

WHEREAS, the destination showcases an extraordinary collection of historic artifacts, including Knievel's iconic red, white and blue jumpsuit, the Caesars Palace jump helmet and the Snake River Canyon Skycycle X-2, offering visitors a deeper understanding of his groundbreaking career; and

WHEREAS, visitors can also walk through the fully restored "Big Red" Mack truck and trailer, brought back to life by more than 90 craftsmen, highlighting the scale and innovation behind Knievel's touring legacy; and

WHEREAS, immersive, hands-on experiences, including a custom 4D virtual reality jump and other interactive exhibits, place visitors in the rider's perspective, bringing Knievel's most daring feats to life in new and engaging ways; and 

WHEREAS, the addition of The Evel Knievel Experience further strengthens Nevada's position as a global leader in tourism, attracting visitors from across the country and around the world while supporting the continued growth of the state's hospitality and entertainment industries; and

WHEREAS, through its combination of historic preservation and modern experiential design, the attraction contributes to Nevada's must-see tourism offerings and enhances the state's reputation for delivering one-of-a-kind visitor experiences; and

WHEREAS, the opening of The Evel Knievel Experience reflects the enduring legacy of Evel Knievel, inspiring new generations through his story of ambition, perseverance and fearless pursuit of achievement; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada encourages all Nevadans to join in recognizing The Evel Knievel Experience and honoring founder Mike Patterson, along with his entire team for their contributions to the state's cultural vitality and economic growth;
