WHEREAS, Linda Donalson has honorably dedicated 40 years of exceptional service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, she has been a tireless advocate for the individuals she supports, consistently demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment; and

WHEREAS, Linda has served as an inspirational coworker whose leadership, integrity, and work ethic have positively influenced all who have had the privilege to work alongside her; and

WHEREAS, the strong and meaningful relationships she has fostered throughout her tenure with the Rural Regional Center stand as a testament to her dedication and impact; and  

WHEREAS, she has been a pillar of support within the Winnemucca community, contributing to its well-being through her longstanding service; and  

WHEREAS, Linda's profound contributions to the Aging and Disability Services Division cannot be fully captured in words, as her impact has touched countless lives and strengthened the mission of the Division; the Department of Human Resources,  Aging and Disability Services Division, and the State of Nevada expresses our sincere appreciation for her 40 years of distinguished service to the residents of our Silver State. We extend our best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim June 26, 2026, as a day in honor of 

Linda Donalson
