Flags at Half-Staff
At the direction of the President of the United States, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered the United States and the State of Nevada flags to be lowered to half-staff for a one-week period in honor of Dolly Parton beginning at 6:00 PM ET Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the United States flag, all other flags should be lowered during this time, including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise.
