Governor Lombardo to Join State Leaders in Honoring Fallen Nevada Law Enforcement Officers

CARSON CITY—Tomorrow, hundreds of law enforcement officers and state dignitaries will gather at the Nevada Law Enforcement Officers Memorial to honor the service and sacrifices of those officers killed in the line of duty in Nevada.

The ceremony will feature a color guard presentation, bagpipes, a 21-gun salute, the laying of the wreath, remarks from Governor Lombardo and other state leaders, a prayer, solemn songs, a riderless horse, and it will conclude with families of the fallen laying carnations on the Memorial and playing Taps.
