Governor Lombardo Announces State Government Offices Closures in Northern Nevada

CARSON CITY, NV – Due to the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) reporting severe weather and potentially dangerous road conditions, Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered all State executive branch government offices (other than essential public safety and corrections personnel) remain closed on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Carson City, Churchill County, Douglas County, Lyon County, Mineral County, Persing County, Storey County, and Washoe County.

The Governor’s office will continue to monitor weather conditions. Governor Lombardo urges northern Nevadans to take caution on roadways and to follow all NDOT and DPS guidance.
